Welcome to our new website!
Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services brings together four regional health authorities (RHAs) and the Newfoundland and Labrador Centre for Health Information (NLCHI) to continue to provide quality health care to all residents of the province, regardless of where they live.
Our transition is underway, and I look forward to the coming months as we reach new milestones in our work to enhance health care across the system. Changes to how RHAs operate throughout the transition will be gradual and communicated clearly.
I encourage you to explore our new NL Health Services website for corporate information and news. It currently contains introductory content, and will continue to grow as the organization evolves into one provincial organization. During the transition period, our RHA and NLCHI websites will remain operational to ensure that you continue to have access to services and contact information.

To our patients, residents and clients, I want to assure you that your health care continues to be our number one priority. Our dedicated staff, physicians, volunteers and partners are committed to ensuring you continue to receive high-quality care and services under our single provincial authority.
The creation of NL Health Services is a direct response to Health Accord NL’s (2022) recommendations to re-imagine health and health care in our province. After an extensive consultation process, we’ve developed a provincial authority structure that represents all the regions we serve and operate in. As we continue to progress through this transition, I hope you will feel at ease and cared for. Thank you for embracing change and for placing your confidence in us to bring it about.
