NL Health Services’ Paramedicine and Medical Transport Team to Hold Annual Pack the Back Toy, Food and Clothes Drive in Eastern Zones

NL Health Services’ Paramedicine and Medical Transport teams in Eastern zones are asking the public to help pack the backs of ambulances with toys, food, and clothing to help families in need this holiday season. Gifts will be donated to the Single Parent Association of Newfoundland and Labrador for distribution to families throughout the region.

The 13th annual Pack the Back toy, food and clothes drive will kick off at Walmart stores located on Stavanger Drive in St. John’s and Merchant Drive in Mount Pearl, tomorrow, Saturday, November 25, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Pack the Back will continue on Saturday, December 2, at Kelsey Drive Walmart in St. John’s and on Saturday, December 9, at Columbus Drive Walmart in Carbonear from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Further Pack the Back events will take place across the province, with dates and locations to be announced in the near future.
