Key Information

As an integrated provincial health authority, we are collaborating to better serve the people of Newfoundland and Labrador – no matter where you access services.

What is NL Health Services?
NL Health Services is Newfoundland and Labrador’s integrated and full-service health system. NL Health Services brings together the province’s four former regional health authorities (Central Health, Eastern Heath, Western Health, and Labrador-Grenfell Health) and the Newfoundland and Labrador Centre for Health Information (NLCHI) to deliver health services to people across the province.

Will my level of care be impacted under NL Health Services?
No. Patients, clients and residents can continue to access care in the same way they always have. There are no immediate changes to health-care programs, services, facilities or contact information as a result of this step in the transition.

Where can I find health service information?
Service and contact information has not changed. You can find details about service delivery, and contact information, on former regional health authority websites. This website has corporate information and will be updated regularly with the latest news to help keep you informed. Over time, all information from all former organizations will be moved to NLHealthServices.ca.

What are the five regional zones?
NL Health Services support five zones across the province: Eastern-Urban, Eastern-Rural, Central, Western and Labrador-Grenfell.

How do I know which zone I’m in?
Geographical boundaries can be found on NL Health Services zone page. If you’ve been a patient in Central, Labrador-Grenfell or Western, your zone is unchanged and still has the same name. For those who were patients of Eastern Health, the zone has been divided into two geographic zones: Rural and Urban.

How do I find a family doctor in Newfoundland and Labrador?
Please register on Patient Connect NL if you are without a primary care provider or will be without a provider in the next three (3) months. You can register online, or call 1-833-913-4679.

Is NL Health Services accepting job applications?
Yes, NL Health Services is accepting job applications via the links listed on our Careers page.

Where can I download the logo?
