Are you interested in becoming a Medical Communications Officer?

Medical Communications Officers are the first point of contact in a medical emergency. They answer 911 calls, provide life-saving instructions, and coordinate the dispatch of ground and air ambulances.

The starting wage is $27.61 per hour.

Before applying, please ensure you meet the following required qualifications:

• Emergency Medical Dispatcher (EMD) Certification through the International Academy of Emergency Medical Dispatchers: This can be completed through the College of Emergency Dispatch (https://learn.prioritydispatch.net/) (Required course: EMD v14 OUTEC v1.0 Remote)
• Health-care Provider CPR/BLS Certification (valid)
• Standard First Aid
