Temporary Interruption to Telephone Services on Northern Peninsula and Southern Labrador

Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) Health Services is advising of a temporary interruption to telephone services impacting the following health-care facilities on the Northern Peninsula and across Southern Labrador:
- Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony
- Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders
- Bonne Bay Health Centre in Norris Point
- Strait of Belle Isle Health Centre in Flower’s Cove
- Mary’s Harbour Community Clinic in Mary’s Harbour
- Charlottetown Clinic in Charlottetown
- Black Tickle Community Clinic in Black Tickle
- Lewis Community Clinic in St. Lewis
- Port Hope Simpson Community Clinic in Port Hope Simpson
Residents in these areas who require an ambulance should dial 911.
During this temporary disruption, residents needing emergency services are advised to call 911 or proceed to their nearest emergency room. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please call the NL HealthLine at 811.
Work is ongoing with the service provider to resolve the interruption. NL Health Services thanks the public in these communities for their cooperation during this time.
