Accessing your personal health record
You will need to have a MyGovNL (www.my.gov.nl.ca) account and be enrolled for the” Personal Health Record” service to access your personal health information through the MyHealthNL app. Please note there are various safety and security measures built into the enrollment process, such as two-factor authentication and an initial mail-out activation code that take up to 14 days in the mail from Canada Post. If you have already signed up for personal health record on the MyGovNL website, then simply login to MyHealthNL using the same user and password information you use to access MyGovNL services. Enrollment steps
You will need to have a MyGovNL account to access your personal health record. If you have already signed up for the personal health record on the MyGovNL website, then simply login to MyHealthNL using the same user and password information you use to access MyGovNL services.
If you do not have a MyGovNL account:
- Visit MyGovNL.ca (www.my.gov.nl.ca) and follow the registration process outlined.
If you already have a MyGovNL account, but have not enrolled for your personal health record:
- Visit MyGovNL.ca (www.my.gov.nl.ca)
- Log in and click to add the “Personal Health Record” service card.
- Follow the prompts.
- Wait for a one-time activation code that will be mailed out to your home address through Canada Post. This can take approximately 14 days.
- Resume the enrollment process by logging back to MyHealthNL and entering the activation code. This will confirm your identity. You only need a mail-out activation code once, during the initial set-up validation process.
Congratulations! You may now log into the MyHealthNL app to view your personal health record.
