Phone bookings

If you have questions regarding your hospital appointment or would like to inquire about rebooking, please call the phone number on your appointment letter. You can also contact the program phone line for your area.

Automated appointment reminder system

Appointment reminders are available by phone, email, or text. This system helps you avoid missing important appointments and ensures our health-care system is running at its best. You’ll receive reminders for non-urgent or non-emergent in-person appointments for:

  • Cardiology
  • Ambulatory Clinics
  • Medical Imaging
  • Janeway Ambulatory
  • Respiratory/Pulmonary
  • Rheumatology
  • Endoscopy

How will this benefit you?
The reminder system will:

  • Send you a reminder so you can prepare for your appointment.
  • Let you confirm or cancel your appointment.
  • Alert us if you cancel, which opens the slot for another patient.

Let’s reduce missed appointments together
Missed appointments can delay care for others and impact waitlists. Our goal is to reduce missed appointments to two per cent or less, which will help provide better access to health care.

Missing an appointment is sometimes unavoidable. Letting us know if you are unable to attend your appointment allows us to schedule that time for someone else in need of care.

How can you help?
Make sure we have your most up-to-date contact information. For changes to your address, phone number, or email, please contact our dedicated phone line at 1-877-336-4170 and have your MCP card ready when you call.

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please call the number on your appointment letter or the hospital where your appointment is scheduled.

By keeping your information current and making every effort to attend your appointment or notify us of a cancellation, you are improving the health-care system.
