New Wheelchair Accessible Bus for Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre

Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) Health Services and the South and Central Health Foundation invites media to attend the launch of its new wheelchair accessible bus at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre on Friday, August 18, 2023 at 1:30 p.m.

Carolyn Greenham, manager of site operations, Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, will be joined by Wendy Houlihan, executive director, South and Central Health Foundation and Brian Warr, MHA for Baie Verte – Green Bay, to officially unveil the new wheelchair accessible bus for residents of the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre’s long-term care unit.

A photo opportunity will be available following the launch.

A wheelchair accessible bus makes it possible for residents living in long-term care facilities in the south and central region to remain active and connected to their community.
