NL Health Services’ Paramedicine and Medical Transport Team to Hold Annual Pack the Back in Central Zone

NL Health Services’ Paramedicine and Medical Transport teams in Central Zone are asking the public to help pack the backs of ambulances with toys, food, and clothing to help families in need this holiday season. Gifts will be donated to the Salvation Army and VOCM Happy Tree program for distribution to families throughout the region.

This will be the 11th annual Pack the Back toy, food and clothes drive within Central Zone and will kick off at Walmart on Roe Avenue in Gander on Saturday, December 2, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Pack the Back events will continue throughout Central Newfoundland at the following locations and dates:

Buchans
December 4, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Colemans Food Centre

Baie Verte
December 7, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Baie Verte Co-op

Grand Falls-Windsor
December 8, 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Walmart

Twillingate
December 9, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Foodland

Springdale
December 14, 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Foodland
