Official Opening of New Chemotherapy Unit

Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) Health Services and the Cancer Care Foundation will hold an official opening and ribbon cutting event for the new chemotherapy unit at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre tomorrow, June 20, 2023, at 10:30 a.m.

Media are invited to attend this event that will conclude with a tour of the chemotherapy suite.

Speakers at the event will include cancer survivors as well as representatives from NL Health Services, the Cancer Care Foundation and the Department of Health and Community Services.

Members of the media are asked to meet at the main entrance of the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre (300 Prince Phillip Drive, St. John’s) at 10:15 a.m. to be escorted to the unit.
