Official Opening of Smilezone at Janeway Children’s Health and Rehabilitation Centre

Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) Health Services and the Smilezone Foundation will hold an official opening and ribbon cutting for the new Smilezone area at the Janeway Children’s Health and Rehabilitation Centre tomorrow (Friday, August 11, 2023) at 10:00 a.m.

Media are invited to attend this event that will conclude with a tour of the Smilezone area.

Speakers at the event will include representatives from NL Health Services, the Smilezone Foundation, the Department of Health and Community Services and the family of a Janeway patient.

Members of the media are asked to meet at the main entrance of the Janeway Children’s Health and Rehabilitation Centre (300 Prince Phillip Drive, St. John’s) at 9:45 a.m. to be escorted to the event.
