Power Upgrades and Temporary Closure of Churchill Falls Community Clinic

Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) Health Services advises the public that as a result of power upgrades being made to the Churchill Falls Community Clinic, the facility will be temporarily closed from:

 Sunday, September 15 at 8:00 a.m. until Thursday, September 26 at 8:00 a.m.

A temporary emergency-only clinic will be established in the ACB Building in Churchill Falls. Please note, non-urgent, in-person primary health care services will not be available at this clinic.

In case of emergency: Patients seeking urgent medical assistance during this time are asked to call (709) 735-0186. Patients with a medical emergency who require an ambulance should call 911. If you are unsure if you should go to the clinic, please call the 811 HealthLine.

Other information: 

811 HealthLine is available 24/7 to provide:

• medical advice (including virtual nurse practitioner appointments);
• health information; and
• support in a mental health crisis.
