UPDATE: ER Availability at Bonne Bay Health Centre 

Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) Health Services advises the public of an update to the availability of emergency services at Bonne Bay Health Centre. The emergency department (ED) will now be staffed with an on-site physician on Tuesday, May 14 and Wednesday, May 15. 

Non-emergent patients are reminded that the 811 HealthLine is available 24/7 to provide:   

• medical advice (including virtual nurse practitioner appointments which can usually be accommodated within three days);   
• health information; and    
• support in a mental health crisis.
