Walk-In Testing Clinics for Sexually Transmitted and Blood-Borne Infections

Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) Health Services advises the public that walk-in testing clinics for sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections (STBBIs), such as Hepatitis B and C, HIV, HPV and Chlamydia, will be held in Labrador on:   

Wednesday, December 11, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.   

  • Nain Community Clinic, 28 Ikajuktauvik Road, Nain, and  
  • Natsuashish Community Clinic, 1 Pasteen Street, Natsuashish. 

Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.  

  • Labrador Health Centre, Happy Valley-Goose Bay. 

Individuals will be seen on first-come, first-serve basis. Information and harm reduction supplies will also be available.   

Patients can expect:  

  • A judgement free, trauma-informed setting open to anyone who would like testing.  
  • Walk-in appointments with in-person providers.  
  • On-site blood collection. 

Getting tested regularly can reduce impacts on an individual’s health and lower their chance of getting or passing STBBIs.
