Public Service AnnouncementsLabrador-Grenfell
Posted: March 1, 2024

Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) Health Services advises the public that there will be walk-in testing clinics for sexually transmitted and blood borne infections (including Hepatitis C and HIV) held in the Labrador-Grenfell Zone on:

Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Labrador Health Centre, Outpatients Clinic (Happy Valley-Goose Bay)

Patients can expect:

  • A judgement free, trauma-informed setting open to anyone who would like testing.
  • Walk-in appointments with in-person providers.
  • On-site blood collection.
  • Information and harm reduction supplies will be available.
  • Individuals will be seen on first-come, first-serve basis.

Getting tested regularly, and when needed can lower your chance of getting or passing sexually transmitted and blood borne infections, reducing the impacts on your overall health.
