2025-2026 Schedule: Holiday Hours for Some NL Health Services Clinics and Services

Regular hours for some NL Health Services walk-in clinics and services may change due to statutory holidays between Wednesday, December 24, 2024 and Friday, January 2, 2025. Please see the below schedule for more information.

Looking for care options over the holidays?

Primary care/other 

  • Contact your primary care provider (family doctor or nurse practitioner) for more information and hours of operation during the holidays. 
  • Note: There are also in-person and virtual primary health-care services in the Eastern-Urban Zone that are not operated by NL Health Services. To locate these additional services, call 211.
     
  • MyHealthNL – Symptom checker: Visit myhealthnl.ca and use the symptom checker tool to learn how serious your symptoms are, if a health care visit is needed, and what you can do at home.
     

Mental health and addictions supports 

  • Mental health supports are available through 811, BridgeTheGapp.ca, and Doorways counselling. 
  • Call the Provincial HealthLine at 811 for urgent mental health, substance use and addictions support and support in a mental health crisis.
     
  • Visit https://nl.bridgethegapp.ca/, Newfoundland and Labrador’s website for mental health and substance use information. Browse the service directory to find local services and supports.
     
  • Call or visit Doorways at your local mental health and addictions office: https://nl.bridgethegapp.ca/adult/service-directory/doorways-walk-in-clinic-counselling/. NL Health Services offers quick access to mental health and addictions counselling services through Doorways.

In case of emergency: Patients with a medical emergency who require an ambulance should call 911. Those who feel they have a serious or urgent medical problem should proceed to their nearest emergency department.
