Coping during a crisis: Mental health support for wildfire-affected communities

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure — you’re not alone.

Here’s how you can access support:

📞 811 Mental Health and Addictions Line – Urgent mental health, substance use and addictions support and support in a mental health crisis 24/7.
📱 Lifewise Warm Line – 1-855-753-2560 | Peer support from those who understand.
📞 Bridge the Gapp – bridgethegapp.ca | Mental health resources and supports.
📞 211 NL – www.nl.211.ca | If you need help with food, emergency funding, transportation, or housing — your basic needs matter just as much as your emotional ones.

📱 Kids Help Phone – Call 1-800-668-6868 | Youth can text 686868 | Adults can text 741741 | Online message KidsHelpPhone.ca

We acknowledge the impact this crisis can have on our staff, first responders and community partners as well:
