Patients and clients with appointment letters for outpatient health-care appointments in St. John’s are asked closely review their letter to confirm the location of their appointment.
The following additional outpatient services are offered at the new site beginning Tuesday morning:
- blood collection (moved from Major’s Path Clinic),
- physiotherapy and occupational therapy, and
- ultrasound.
In addition, a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) service and a pain clinic (including a fluoroscopy room with dedicated space to provide interventions and infusion therapy for patients with chronic pain) are scheduled to open in 2026.
Other reminders:
- Parking: Free parking is available for patients and staff at the new ambulatory health hub.
- Other Outpatient Services in St. John’s: Some outpatient services will remain at the Health Sciences Centre and St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital. In addition, some on-call medicine and surgery specialist clinics, as well as ear, nose and throat clinics, and rheumatology services, will remain at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital.
- Urgent Care: A new urgent care centre will also open at the Unity Health Centre at a later date. Information about the opening dates for urgent care centres in the metro area will be shared once finalized.
