NL Health Services and Nunatsiavut Government Outline Process for Sharing Patient Feedback
December 15, 2025Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) Health Services and Nunatsiavut Governmentâs Department of Health and Social Development (DHSD) value patient feedback as it helps to continuously improve services for patients and their families. We want to ensure the public is aware of the processes in place for sharing feedback: compliments, concerns or suggestions related to the delivery of health-care services in the Labrador-Grenfell Zone.
Provincial Patient Relations Office
NL Health Servicesâ Patient Relations Office is here to listen to patient experiences. We will follow-up and make sure patients get the support they need. We can also help patients navigate the health-care system and answer questions.
Patient Relations Contact:
- Telephone: 1-844-776-4400
- Email:Â patient.relations@nlhealthservices.ca
Once feedback is received:
- We make every effort to respond to initial calls and emails within three business days, Monday to Friday, during regular business hours.
- The Patient Relations Office will involve the appropriate leadership.
- Leadership will follow up with the patient.
- Your feedback is used for continuous quality improvement.
