Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) Health Services invites media outlets for a tour of the new ambulatory health hub and urgent care centre located at 28 Stavanger Drive (the former Costco building) in St. John’s. The media tour will take place on Tuesday, July 15 at 10:00 a.m. 

Dr. Greg Browne, clinical lead, Health-Care Infrastructure, NL Health Services and Kimberley Pike, clinical planner, Provincial Capital Planning, will lead the tour and be available to answer questions. The Honourable Krista Lynn Howell, Minister of Health and Community Services will also be participating in the tour.

Because the site is an active construction zone, personal protective equipment is mandatory. Safety vests and hard hats will be available but members of the media are asked to provide their own safety boots. As well, for safety reasons, legs must be covered while touring the building – pants or leggings are acceptable.
