Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) Health Services – Labrador-Grenfell Zone’s Paramedicine
team, in collaboration with employees from Iron Ore Company of Canada (IOCC) and the Royal
Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC), are asking the public to help pack the backs of ambulances
with new children’s toys, children’s clothing and non-perishable food items to help families in
need this holiday season.

Gifts will be donated to the Salvation Army for distribution to families throughout the region.
The Pack the Back drive for toys, clothing and food drive will take place tomorrow, Saturday,
December 16, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Anick Lodge parking lot in Labrador
City.
