Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) Health Services advises the public that nurse practitioner (NP) appointments are now available for individuals on the Southwest Coast.

Virtual or phone NP appointments will be offered at the times and locations below:

• Nurse Douglas Stewart Medical Clinic, 8 D.O.T. Road, Ramea, NL: Wednesdays, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (virtual)
• Melita Young/Grey River Medical Clinic, 9 Main Street, Grey River, NL: Thursdays, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (phone)
• Francois Clinic, Francois, NL: Thursdays, 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. (virtual)

Patients with a booked appointment can proceed to their local clinic where they will have their vital signs checked by an on-site clinician followed by a virtual or phone appointment with a nurse practitioner.

Appointments are available for both patients with or without a current primary care provider.
