Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) Health Services is hosting an open house for the new Gander Community Health Centre on Monday, January 19, 2026. Tours will take place every half hour from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 80 Dickens Street, Gander, NL.
Tours are scheduled to take place from:
11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.
12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The tour will provide an opportunity for community representatives and current patients to tour the new facility, meet staff, and learn more about the enhanced primary health-care services in the Central Zone.
NL Health Services’ leadership team will provide guided tours and be able to answer questions about the new facility and services provided there, which includes the Gander/Gander Bay Family Care Team and community-based Mental Health and Addictions services currently being offered at James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre and the McCurdy Complex. Relocating Mental Health and Addictions services to one location provides enhanced, integrated support including psychiatry services, Doorways and other regional services.
Visitors are advised to use the main entrance of the new facility to access the tour. Please refer to the image below for more information regarding the location.
