Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) Health Services advises the public that a temporary phone line has been set up for individuals to call if they need to cancel their appointment due to the ongoing wildfires and evacuation orders/alerts.

Individuals who need to cancel their appointment in the Eastern Zones due to the wildfires can call 1-844-528-1400.

• This phone line is currently available 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
  • Please note that hours of operation may be extended and the latest information will be posted to NL Health Services’ Wildfire Information webpage.
• Individuals are asked to have their MCP card and their appointment letter available when they call, if possible.
• Individuals who call the phone line will be contacted at a later date by the relevant program to reschedule their appointment.
