Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) Health Services would like to advise residents of a temporary disruption of laboratory services (blood collection) and medical imaging services at Fogo Island Health Centre on Fogo Island today, Friday, November 24, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.  This temporary disruption is due to human resource challenges.

The emergency department is open, however, if it is determined you require emergency medical imaging or laboratory services, you may be redirected to another facility.

If you are in need of emergency services, please call 911 or proceed to your nearest emergency room.

NL Health Services apologizes for any inconvenience this disruption may cause.
