NL Health Services Recycling Program

This recycling program supports individuals, businesses, organizations, and community groups to donate beverage container refunds directly to a health-care foundation in Newfoundland and Labrador.

By donating your recycling refunds, you’re helping support better care, facilities, and health outcomes in communities across the province—while also contributing to environmental sustainability.

It’s easy to donate:

1. 1. Collect used beverage containers. Learn more about which containers are accepted for recycling at the Green Depot at the MMBS website: https://greendepotnl.ca/whats-accepted/.
2. 2. Visit your nearest Green Depot. Use the MMSB Green Depot locator: https://mmsb.nl.ca/greendepot-locator/.

To participate in this program, bring your recyclable beverage containers to any Green Depot in Newfoundland and Labrador. To find your nearest location, use the MMSB’s Depot Locator: https://mmsb.nl.ca/greendepot-locator/.

Choose to direct the proceeds from your recycling deposit to any of the health care foundations across the province.
