You no longer need to use paper, phone or fax to interface with NLHS programs and services or to order diagnostic testing from NLHS. *   CorCare Link allows you to access patient information by simply logging in to an online portal through your browser. CorCare Link also enables digital ordering and referral pathways, which means no more chasing down errant faxes or checking if your order/referral was received.

Staff at any facility (Offices, Rehabs, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy/Speech Therapy, Researchers, Auditors, Hospitals, etc.) that are not a part of NL Health Services who need access to NL Health Services patient information must apply for a CorCare Link account.

*With the exception of downtime business continuity processes

CorCare Link (also referred to as EpicCare Link) is an Epic web-based application that connects you to NL Health Services Electronic Health Record, allowing better continuity of care for your patients. Patients can be seen at NL Health Services facilities, and then their non-NL Health Services care team can receive notifications and updates via CorCare Link. This access gives you the information you need to make informed decisions on your patients’ ongoing care. It allows the end user to:

  • Send and receive referrals
  • Submit outpatient lab and imaging orders
  • View clinical documentation including test results, progress notes, procedural notes and more in a patient’s NL Health Services chart
  • Receive results and notifications
  • Securely send messages to NL Health Services and other users directly from your browser
  • Everyone who needs access to the patient chart
  • Clinic Staff
    • Physicians
    • Nurses
    • Pharmacists
    • Optometrists
  • Support Staff
    • Medical Office Assistants
      • Supporting referral management
      • Supporting medical imaging and lab ordering
      • Supporting communication tasks
      • Other as identified by clinics
