MyHealthNL

MyHealthNL, powered by MyChart is a secure, patient-facing website and app that allows residents of Newfoundland and Labrador, and patients of NL Health Services, to view their personal health records and access services from NL Health Services.

With MyHealthNL, you can:

• View and manage many NL Health Services appointments
• Check in electronically for appointments ahead of time
• View your health information, including medications, allergies, test results, and more
• Access resources for trusted health information.

Note: MyHealthNL is Newfoundland and Labrador’s branch of the MyChart app. In the app store, you will download ‘MyChart’ – after logging in and selecting NL Health Services as your organization, the MyChart app becomes MyHealthNL.

If you are already using MyHealthNL:

• Visit MyHealthNL.ca, or
• Download the MyChart app and select ‘NL Health Services’ as your organization
• Log in using your MyGovNL username and password

If you are new to MyHealthNL:

You can sign up after April 25, 2026 through one of the following options:

• Register through your MyGovNL account
• Sign up during a health care visit at the front desk
• Use an activation code found on your ‘After Visit Summary’ or billing statement (codes are valid for 14 days)
• If your contact information is unique in the system, you may receive a secure activation code via SMS or email following your NL Health Services visit

The provincial government has a robust and highly secured identity identification system that MyHealthNL leverages. A MyGovNL account is the recommended way to access MyHealthNL if you:

• Are 16 years of age or older
• Have a driver’s license
• Have a valid MCP

If you are not eligible for a MyGovNL account, other sign-up options are available, including using an activation code provided during your visit with NL Health Services.

MyHealthNL helps you take control of your health journey like never before. Having access to your personal health information empowers you to better manage your chronic conditions, monitor your medications, view your test results, and have more informed discussions with your health care providers.

You can view, book, confirm, cancel, and reschedule many of your NL Health Services appointments. You can also schedule some appointments like bloodwork, flu shots, X-rays, family care team appointments, and more.

The privacy and confidentiality of your health information is very important. MyHealthNL uses secure systems and follows the highest privacy standards to protect your personal health information. Your information is stored on secure networks used by health care providers to deliver care.

With MyHealthNL, powered by MyChart, you can view:

• Most lab test results
• Medical imaging reports
• Visits, clinic and procedure notes
• Diagnoses
• NL Health Services-prescribed medications
• Dispensed medications from community pharmacies

With MyHealthNL, powered by MyChart, you can:

• Manage many of your NL Health Services appointments (ex. view, confirm, book, cancel, reschedule)
• View summary notes and referrals
• Message your care team while receiving care in hospital
• Access health education materials
• Self-refer to cancer screening programs
