NL Health Services will provide an update on the CorCare digital health information system on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. at the Health Innovation Acceleration Centre (HIAC), 66 Pippy Place, St. John’s, NL. 

Ron Johnson, chief executive officer (interim), Dr. Gena Bugden, vice president – medical services and academic affairs, and chief of staff, will be joined by Dr. Andrew Hunt, a rural family and emergency medicine physician and site lead at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre in Twillingate. 

Officials will provide a background briefing (not for attribution) which will include an overview of the CorCare system, as well as an update on implementation since the system launched on April 25. This will be followed by on-camera remarks and an opportunity for questions from media.
