Changes to Traffic Flow at Green Bay Health Centre

Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) Health Services advises the public of changes to the flow of traffic at the main entrance of the Green Bay Health Centre (GBHC) in Springdale. These measures are necessary to support safe patient and visitor drop off and will be in effect as of Friday, August 2, 2024.

There will be no impact to the flow of traffic to the emergency department entrance.

Please adhere to new signage and road markings being put in place to help direct traffic.

The changes are as follows:

• Vehicular traffic on Little Bay Road must take the first right to enter the hospital parking lot. This will become a one way only entry point.

• Patients and visitors will no longer be able to access the hospital parking lot by taking the second right on Little Bay Road. Do not enter signage will be in place. This will be an exit only point for the parking lot.
• Patients and visitors looking to access the main entrance by entering through Shearboom Road should take the route to the left of the generator/service building.
