Intermittent Interruption to Telephone Services on the Northern Peninsula

Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) Health Services advises the public that work is ongoing with the service provider to resolve intermittent interruptions to telephone services currently impacting the following sites on the Northern Peninsula:

• Strait of Belle Isle Health Centre in Flower’s Cove
• Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony

Residents in these areas who require an ambulance should dial 911.

During this temporary disruption, residents needing emergency services are advised to call 911 or proceed to their nearest emergency room. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please call the NL HealthLine at 811.

Work is ongoing with the service provider to resolve the interruption. NL Health Services thanks the public in these communities for their cooperation during this time.
