Temporary Disruption of Outpatient Laboratory and Medical Imaging Services at Fogo Island Health Centre

Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) Health Services advises the public of a temporary disruption of laboratory services (blood collection) and medical imaging (X-ray) services at Fogo Island Health Centre on Fogo Island due to human resource challenges from:

Friday, December 8, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. to Monday, December 11, 2023 at 8:30 a.m.

The emergency department is open, however if it is determined you require emergency laboratory and/or medical imaging services, you may be redirected to another facility.

NL Health Services thanks the public for their understanding as we continue to focus on providing safe and quality care for people of Fogo Island.
