Update on Services Impacted by Adverse Weather
Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) Health Services advises the public all Eastern-Urban zone community health sites and administrative buildings that had been closed this morning will reopen at 1:00 p.m. today.
The public is reminded that hospitals, the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre, long-term care facilities, the dialysis treatment centre located at Mount Pearl Square and other sites with 24-hour operations remain open, and emergency services continue to be available.
NL Health Services reminds patients and clients to check with their health-care provider’s office to confirm that their appointment is going ahead, and reminds patients and clients that there may be delays. Individuals travelling long distances are encouraged to call ahead to make sure their appointments are not impacted by the weather.
