Water Disruption at Dr. A. A. Wilkinson Memorial Health Centre in Old Perlican

Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) Health Services advises the public that Dr. A. A. Wilkinson Memorial Health Centre in Old Perlican is currently experiencing a water disruption due to a water line break in the town. Repair crews from the Town of Old Perlican are currently working to resolve this issue; however, there currently is no timeline for repairs and restoration of services.

The facility remains open, including the emergency department. If you are in need of emergency services, please call 911 or proceed to your nearest emergency room.

Blood collection/laboratory and X-ray/diagnostic services will operate on an urgent and emergent basis only. There will be no routine outpatient blood collection or diagnostic imaging service during this time.

All scheduled outpatient clinics will take place virtually for the remainder of today (Thursday, July 25) and tomorrow (Friday, July 26). Patients with affected appointments will be contacted individually with further instructions or to rebook.
