Services Resume at the Western Bay Medical Clinic Following Temporary Closure Due to Wildfire

Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) Health Services advises that the Western Bay Medical Clinic has reopened to patients today, May 9, following its temporary closure due to nearby wildfires in the Eastern-Rural Zone. The decision to reopen follows confirmation that wildfire conditions in the area are now under control.

NL Health Services recognizes that this may be a difficult time for people and encourages them to avail of mental health resources, as needed. NL Health Services continues to work closely with provincial emergency management officials and community partners to monitor the situation and respond to any emerging needs.
