Temporary Impacts to Emergency Services at NL Health Services Sites in Southern Labrador

Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) Health Services advises the public of temporary impacts to emergency services at NL Health Services sites in Southern Labrador due to an interruption of telephone and internet services currently affecting communities. These impacts will remain in effect until telecommunications services are restored.

In case of emergency: Residents of the following impacted communities experiencing a medical emergency should proceed directly to their local health-care clinic, where staff can arrange ambulance transportation to another emergency department, if required:

  • Black Tickle
  • Cartwright
  • Mary’s Harbour
  • Port Hope Simpson
  • Charlottetown
  • St. Lewis (Residents of St. Lewis should proceed to Mary’s Harbour Community Clinic)
