About CorCare
CorCare is NL Health Services’ province-wide health information system. It brings together patient records, clinical workflows and digital tools so care teams across Newfoundland and Labrador can work from the same up-to-date information. In practical terms, it is a modern record that supports safer handoffs, better continuity, and fewer information gaps as people move through the health system.
CorCare provides health professionals with real-time access to a patientâs complete and up-to-date electronic health record. Patient safety is at the heart of CorCare. The system strengthens coordination among care teams, supports standardized clinical workflows and helps improve transitions between services, creating a more seamless experience for both physicians and patients.
How does CorCare benefit health-care professionals?
Health-care professionals will have more timely access to shared patient information and more standardized workflows across the province. That supports safer, more consistent care and reduces the need to chase information through multiple systems.
Where is CorCare used?
CorCare is used  at all NL Health Services sites. Full access to CorCare is provided through the application Hyperspace.
