Why You Use CorCare Link
You no longer need to use paper, phone or fax to interface with NL Health Services programs and services or to order diagnostic testing from NL Health Services.*Â CorCare Link allows you to access patient information by simply logging in to an online portal through your browser. CorCare Link also enables digital ordering and referral pathways, which means no more chasing down errant faxes or checking if your order/referral was received.Â
Staff at any facility (offices, rehabilitation offices, skilled nursing facilities, physical therapy/occupational therapy/speech therapy, researchers, auditors, hospitals, etc.) that are not a part of NL Health Services who need access to NL Health Services patient information can apply for a CorCare Link account.
*With the exception of downtime business continuity processesÂ
What is CorCare Link?
CorCare Link (also referred to as EpicCare Link) is an Epic web-based application that connects you to NL Health Services Electronic Health Record, allowing better continuity of care for your patients. Patients can be seen at NL Health Services facilities, and then their non-NL Health Services care team can receive notifications and updates via CorCare Link. This access gives you the information you need to make informed decisions on your patientsâ ongoing care. It allows the end user to:Â
- Send and receive referrals
- Submit outpatient lab and imaging orders
- View clinical documentation including test results, progress notes, procedural notes and more in a patientâs NL Health Services chart
- Receive results and notifications
- Securely send messages to NL Health Services and other users directly from your browser
Who Can Use CorCare Link?
- Clinic Staff
- Physicians
- Nurses
- Pharmacists
- Optometrists
- Support Staff
- Medical Office Assistants
-
- Supporting referral management
- Supporting medical imaging and lab ordering
- Supporting communication tasks
- Other as identified by clinics

CorCare Link Playground support
To support community providers and clinic teams as they get started with Core Care Link, we are offering short, drop-in Registration & Support Sessions.
What we can help with during these sessions
- Registration and access setup support (getting registered/troubleshooting common issues)
- A brief, basic demo of Core Care Link navigation
- Questions in the play environment (where available)
- General âhow-toâ guidance and where to find tip sheets/resources
What is out of scope for these sessions
- Project decision-making (e.g., why NL Health Services is implementing Link, program policy decisions)
- Compensation, training payment, or broader change management concerns
- Legal/contract interpretation (we can only help with logistics such as where to find/sign/submit forms, not the content of agreements)
If you have questions outside the scope above, please email corcarelink@nlhealthservices.ca and the CorCare Link team will follow up.
