CorCare Link is a secure, web-based portal that connects community clinicians and clinic teams to select patient information and workflows in CorCare, NL Health Services’ electronic health record. It supports more connected care by making it easier to share information, submit orders and referrals, receive results, and communicate with NL Health Services. CorCare Link supports more connected care by making it easier to share information, submit orders and referrals, receive results and communicate with NL Health Services.

CorCare Link has been available since April 25, 2026, and community use is voluntary. Current ways of working remain in place to ease transition. Dedicated phone support and in-person support is available where needed to help with the transition to CorCare Link.

CorCare Link allows authorized users to:

  • send and receive referrals
  • submit outpatient lab and imaging orders
  • view clinical documentation, including test results, progress notes and procedural notes
  • receive results and notifications
  • securely message NL Health Services and other CorCare users

CorCare Link is available to approved community clinicians and clinic teams who need access to NL Health Services patient information.

This may include physicians, nurses, pharmacists, optometrists, medical office assistants and other support staff involved in referral management, diagnostic ordering, communication and patient care.

The level of access is role dependent, so not all user types will have access to the full functionality or information available through CorCare Link.

Access and registration

There is no fee to use CorCare Link, and no software installation is required. CorCare Link can be accessed through a supported internet browser.

Before using CorCare Link, users must complete the required access process, including the CorCare Link Access Agreement.

NL Health Services asks that you complete an agreement before you access CorCare Link.

In-clinic onboarding support

A team is established to support community provider offices that sign on to use CorCare Link. This team is resourced to support onboarding, workflow understanding, and site user access to ensure CorCare Link readiness.

Please request the support you’d like in the following survey:  CorCare Link Support Request Form.

CorCare Link does not replace Med Access, HEALTHeNL, or a clinic’s current documentation system. It supplements existing systems by providing a secure way to connect with NL Health Services programs, services, and clinicians.

Community clinicians who are not using CorCare Link may continue to use existing referral, ordering, and communication pathways.

CorCare Link provides community clinicians and clinic teams with an additional way to connect with NL Health Services programs, services, and patient information through a secure web-based portal.

Depending on clinic workflows and operational needs, CorCare Link may support:

  • Digital referral and ordering workflows
  • Access to select patient information within CorCare
  • Electronic result delivery and notifications
  • Secure messaging and communication with NL Health Services and other CorCare users

CorCare Link is accessed through a supported internet browser and does not require software installation.

Existing paper, phone, fax, and other established workflows remain available and continue to support patient care during the transition.

Approved users outside of NL Health Services who require access to patient information to support care delivery, referrals, ordering, or operational responsibilities may apply for CorCare Link access.

Downtime and business continuity processes continue to apply where required.

To support community providers and clinic teams as they get started with CorCare Link, we are offering short, drop-in Support Sessions.

What we can help with during these sessions

  • Registration and access setup support (getting registered/troubleshooting common issues)
  • A brief, basic CorCare Link navigation
  • General “how-to” guidance and where to find tip sheets/resources
  • Questions about workflows, functionalities and connections to other supports as required (where available)

What is out of scope for these sessions

  • Project decision-making (e.g., why NL Health Services is implementing Link or Hyperspace, program policy decisions)
  • Broader change management concerns
  • Legal/contract interpretation for CorCare Link (we can only help with logistics such as where to find/submit forms, not the content of agreements)
